Job Summary:

The Security Officer will be responsible for providing security services to our hospital and its surrounding areas. This includes patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and providing assistance to clients and guests with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist clients and guests with special needs.
  • Operate security control room equipment.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Private Investigator (PI) provincial/territorial Licence.
  • Provincial/Territorial Security Officer Certificate.
  • Security Guard License.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word skills.
  • Criminal record check.
