About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Dr. Christopher Pollock Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Disinfecting and Cleaning: Disinfect operating rooms and other areas, handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
