Housekeeping Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Dr. Christopher Pollock Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hospital/medical facility or clinic.
Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
- Support Services: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
- Experience: Will train.
- Permanent employment.
- English language of work.
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
