Position Overview:

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our Burnaby Mental Health and Substance Use team at the Burnaby Hospital campus of care. This is a full-time position requiring 5 days per week, with participation in the on-call rota mandatory.

Our model of care involves an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers with a consistent approach that focuses on mental health management, connection to services, and communication with community care providers. This is an exciting opportunity for psychiatrists to join a multidisciplinary team to support complex, marginalized individuals with significant mental health and substance use issues.

What We Offer:

In addition to providing consultations to patients, connection to services, and referrals with warm handovers for ongoing care, physicians will receive ongoing mentorship and support from FH Mental Health Physicians. Qualifications:

Eligible for Full License, CPSBC Full, CPSBC Provisional, FRCPC. Compensation: Combination of Alternative Payment Plan & Fee For Service. Location: Burnaby Hospital.
