We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Executive to join our team at CPA Ontario. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies that drive business growth and success. The role will involve:

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to develop multi-dimensional reporting frameworks that support decision-making;
  • Creating annual business plans and forecasts in collaboration with senior management;
  • Preparing executive-level reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, forecasts, and budgets;
  • Supporting the development of financial data strategy governance and alignment with internal stakeholders;
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to the finance team and business unit leaders.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A post-secondary graduate degree in finance, accounting, or business, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience;
  • A completed CPA designation;
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to executive teams and stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and advanced Excel functions and formulas;
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an asset.
