About the Role
This exciting opportunity is with the Government of Canada - Central, a leading organization in the field. The Senior Marketing Vice President will be responsible for implementing organizational policies and programs, allocating resources to achieve strategic objectives.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead our team as Senior Marketing Vice President. In this role, you will coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments, establish financial and administrative controls, and approve overall human resources planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions;
- Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions;
- Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs;
- Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions;
- Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs;
- Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments;
- Formulate and approve promotional campaigns.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Education: College/CEGEP degree;
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar position;
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Word;
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, interpersonal awareness, team player.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $115,000. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive health plan, a pension plan, and opportunities for career advancement.
