Job Summary

Fulton Child Care Association is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Program Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
  • Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
  • Establish guidelines for behavior and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
Requirements
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) certification
  • Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Basic Security Clearance
  • Criminal Record Check
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a child care center in an urban area, with a team of 5-10 people. The work environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.
