Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security's Healthcare Division. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at our healthcare facilities in Red Deer and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility

• Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and emergency calls for assistance

• Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks

• Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents

• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and visitors

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

• Physical ability to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors
