Lead AEM Developer

NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lead AEM Developer to join our dynamic team in Canada. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping pioneering solutions and driving technological excellence forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet their needs.
  • Strong experience in AEM, HTL, and Sling Model development.
  • Web application development experience, including REST, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience in creating OSGI bundles, AEM template components, and workflows.
  • Strong experience in using AEM Sling, including Dialog Configuration, Authoring Environment, CRX DE, Package Manager, User Administration Area, Assets Area, and OSGi consoles.
  • Experience with frontend tech, including HTML, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of solid designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
  • Serve as a technical expert on development projects.
  • Participate in daily SCRUM technical discussions and frequent collaboration with team members.
  • Good command of AEM experience; strong understanding of HTL and Sling Model development.
  • Web application development experience, including REST, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience in creating OSGI bundles, AEM template components, and workflows.
