Flight Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer

SEDS Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flight Surgeon and Chief Medical Officer to join our team. As a key member of our space medicine team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall health and well-being of our astronauts before, during, and after spaceflight.

About the Role
  • Supervise the overall health of astronauts, including pre-flight medical evaluations, in-flight medical support, and post-flight medical care.
  • Develop and implement medical protocols and procedures for space missions.
  • Collaborate with international partners, including the European Space Agency, to provide medical support for joint missions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to ensure the best possible care for our astronauts.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent medical degree.
  • Experience in space medicine or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
