Warehouse Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Clerk to join our team at Groupe Polygon. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving and processing inventory, managing stock levels, and preparing orders for shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process inventory shipments, verifying accuracy and completeness of orders.
  • Manage stock levels, including counting and reconciling inventory, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling items.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move inventory around the warehouse.
  • Participate in inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in receiving and shipping, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written French.
  • Basic knowledge of spoken and written English (an asset).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Forklift operator certificate.
  • Good physical capabilities, including the ability to lift or move loads of 50-60 pounds repeatedly.
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
