Clearpath Robotics, a Rockwell Automation company, seeks an accomplished Automation Robotics Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative, engaging technical content to help evangelize our ROS-enabled products to both technical and non-technical audiences. This includes designing and creating compelling robot demos, proof-of-concept designs, engaging YouTube-style videos, and coordinating unique product demos for marketing videos and tradeshows/conferences.

The role also involves working closely with our Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns, content strategy, events, and activities. Additionally, the candidate will liaise with technical partners on strategic co-marketing initiatives and work with the engineering team to create demo products and applications through the design of 3D-printed mechanical parts, integration of various electronic components, development of ROS software, and enhancement of our Web UI.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

This role requires a BASc in engineering or equivalent, experience developing demos, tutorials, webinars, videos, technical collateral, and a strong working knowledge of robotics software frameworks, including Linux, ROS, C++, and Python. The ideal candidate should also be well-organized, detail-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience appearing on-camera.

Bonus points for candidates with experience with MoveIt/RViz/Gazebo, MATLAB, Qt, C/C#, authoring in Sphinx and LaTex documentation generators, understanding of B2B marketing elements, and experience with sensors and hardware integration.
