Job Title: Video Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Director to join our team at RANA AHLUWALIA PRODUCTIONS INC.

Job Summary:

The Video Director will be responsible for overseeing the artistic aspects of video production, including planning, organizing, and directing the creative vision of our projects. This is a permanent position, working 32 hours per week, with a language of work being English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit motion picture film based on the director's vision
  • Supervise staff or team
  • Plan, organize and direct the artistic aspects of production
  • Oversee the design of sets, costumes, furnishings and props
  • Plan and co-ordinate the production of musical recordings
  • Direct musicians and singers during rehearsals and recording
  • Co-ordinate and direct the photography of production
Work Environment:

The Video Director will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in video production
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Judgement and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
