**Marketing Manager**

The Brampton Board of Trade is an association that brings together local businesses and leaders to foster economic growth, create opportunity, and drive change within our community. As the voice for Brampton businesses, we provide the resources, networking, and guidance to elevate Brampton - and the businesses that shape it - to greater heights.

We're passionate about what we do and we have no shortage of creativity. We need a Marketing Manager to develop these ideas into products and campaigns that will bring life to our online presence, publications, and in-event communications.

**Who we're looking for**:
We need a storyteller. Whether it's communicating our messages, promoting our events, or shining a light on our members, we need someone who has a passion for crafting a narrative and knows how to build a plan to tell our story across multiple platforms to a diverse audience. Of course, measuring our reach and effectiveness are also critical and having the skills for collecting and analyzing data to make good planning decisions are also vital.

**What You Can Do**:

- Ensure our brand is consistently and effectively communicated
- Develop and manage a marketing and communications calendar
- Collaborate across departments to help support and develop marketing ideas
- Create and manage content on our social media channels and website
- Connect with our members to capture and tell their stories on our platforms
- Work with our events team to create collateral and graphics
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of campaigns that are on-time and within budget
- Measure post campaign results and develop recommendations to improve and advance future initiatives

**What You Are**:

- Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines
- Passionate about storytelling getting people to connect with a message
- A team player, able to influence, build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Digitally savvy and up to date on social media and digital trends
- An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual

**What You Have**:

- 2-3 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, events management, graphic design and video creation/editing
- Post-secondary education in marketing or related field
- Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro/Rush or Final Cut Pro
- Experience with digital communication and social media software, Constant Contact, Wordpress, Survey Monkey, Buffer)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Access to a vehicle and able to travel within Brampton
