Community Outreach Coordinator

Canadian Blood Services is seeking a skilled Community Recruiter to join our dynamic Donor Relations & Field Operations team.
This role involves attending events and festivals to engage with community members, create brand awareness, and promote the importance of blood donation.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize excellent communication skills to educate the public about the need for donors and the impact of blood donation.
- Develop and manage sales opportunities to identify events and festivals for activation booths.
- Organize and maintain supplies for activation display booths at events.
- Work with volunteers to support the growth of awareness about Canadian Blood Services.
- Experience in sales, promotions, and marketing, with a strong ability to initiate conversation and speak comfortably about opportunities to get involved with Canadian Blood Services.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong personal initiative.
- Some post-secondary education, plus related experience or equivalent combination.
- Preference will be given to those with an interest in Sales, Communications, Marketing, or Public Outreach, as well as previous experience with volunteers and volunteering.
