Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Mindanao General Contracting Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries as needed
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas as required
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests and visitors
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including apartment/condominium complexes, urban areas, office buildings, airports, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, private residences, and hospitals/medical facilities.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours:

The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
