The Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Assistant to join their team. This role plays a vital part in facilitating training and development activities within the GA training environment.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires collaboration with various business functions, including R&D, product management, engineering, services, and commercial teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clerical tasks related to learning programs, maintaining digital learning platforms, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Learning Program Management: Manage clerical tasks related to learning programs, ensuring timely completion of tasks and efficient program delivery.
  • Digital Learning Platform Maintenance: Maintain and update digital learning platforms, ensuring seamless user experience and optimal platform functionality.
  • User Support: Handle user accounts and troubleshoot technical issues, providing prompt support to users and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Teaching and Learning Enhancement: Use digital tools to enhance teaching and learning, creating engaging experiences for learners and instructors alike.
  • Course Management: Maintain online courses as needed, ensuring accurate information and up-to-date course materials.
  • System Requirements: Collaborate with software and hardware vendors, consultants, and content experts to establish system requirements and ensure optimal LMS functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum years of professional experience in manufacturing or R&D environment, with excellent computer skills and expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach to tasks, ability to facilitate cross-functional team discussions, flexible and adaptable, and ability to communicate clearly with peers on training topics.
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as education assistance, health insurance, and paid time off.
