We are seeking a seasoned Senior Specialized IT Consultant to provide expert guidance to clients on their information technology initiatives.

Job Overview

GTT, LLC is a leading technology firm looking for a talented individual to join our team and drive digital transformation. As a Senior Specialized IT Consultant, you will be responsible for advising clients on information technology to meet business objectives and overcome problems.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in project management, including planning, resource management, governance, risk management, and change management. You should be able to allocate resources efficiently to achieve project goals and identify potential risks and create contingency plans.

A strong background in Agile-Scrum environments, using standard and DevOps processes and tools, is also required. Additionally, experience working with OpenText Content Suite and other OpenText products, as well as knowledge of application development methodologies, techniques, and methods, is highly desirable.

You will work closely with clients to define project scope and requirements, design, test, install, and monitor new systems, and develop solutions that meet their needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on information technology to meet business objectives and overcome problems.
  • Improve the structure and efficiency of organizations' I&IT systems.
  • Provide strategic guidance on information management, IT technology, IT infrastructures, and business process enablement.
  • Offer subject matter expertise and highly expert technical assistance.
  • Serve as the technical advisor/expert on specific deliverables.
  • Ensure the quality assurance/quality control of deliverables.
  • Anticipate and resolve problems to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Develop processes and procedures for implementing deliverables.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, options, recommendations, and implementation plans.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, including planning, resource management, governance, risk management, and change management.
  • Experience in developing project plans, and defining objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ability to allocate resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Skill in identifying potential risks and creating contingency plans.
  • Experience in monitoring project expenses and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Ability to ensure project deliverables meet required standards and client expectations.
  • Experience in managing and motivating project teams, assigning tasks, and resolving conflicts.
  • Skill in cross-training projects and team members.
  • Ability to track project status and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to changes in project requirements and ensuring the project remains on track.
Preferred Skills
  • Agile-Scrum environment experience.
  • OpenText Content Suite and other OpenText products experience.
  • Knowledge of application development methodologies, techniques, and methods.
  • Knowledge of tools to support Web Accessibility testing for AODA legislation.

The salary range for this position is C$650 - 700 per day. The job will involve working in a hybrid setting, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
