Job Title: Truck Driver

MIKA TRUCKING is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various locations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and overnight
