Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure optimal results against Supply Chain Management performance metrics.
- Lead the procurement process, including competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Manage all aspects of procurement, including contract administration, vendor management, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and develop solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procurement best practices.
- Two-year post-secondary diploma or four-year post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in category-based buying and negotiating contracts or directly related experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in public procurement processes, negotiating commercial terms and conditions, and competitive bidding laws.
- Demonstrated ability to apply risk management tools and skills, interpret purchasing policy, processes, and procedures, and effectively negotiate with vendors and 3rd parties.
