Job Title: Engineering Project Specialist

At Bombardier, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving airframe and systems problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support production operations on Bombardier multi-platform aircraft programs
  • Understand and resolve airframe and systems problems by answering Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's)
  • Work closely with other disciplines to achieve business objectives
  • Participate in projects to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve financial performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or College (3 year) technical diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • Desire and capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after on-the-job training
  • Familiarity with metallic and composite aircraft structures and aircraft system installation
  • Experience dispositioning nonconformances in aerospace (asset)
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Sound technical judgment and practical approach
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to browse Engineering mockups in Catia v5
