About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Liaison Engineering Professional to support production operations on our multi-platform aircraft programs. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with various disciplines to achieve business objectives and drive productivity, reduce waste, and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support production operations on Bombardier multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger 3500 / 650 and Global 5500 / 6500 / 7500).
  • Understand and resolve airframe and systems problems by providing technical support and answering Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) raised by Quality.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines such as Stress, Materials & Processes, Systems, Flight Science, Design, Methods, Quality, and Operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Participate in projects aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and improving financial performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or College (3 year) technical diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment with airframe structure repairs.
  • Desire and capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training.
  • Familiarity with metallic and composite aircraft structures as well as aircraft system installation.
  • Experience dispositioning nonconformances in aerospace, an asset.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexible and comfortable working under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
  • Sound technical judgement and a practical approach.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to browse Engineering mockups in Catia v5.
