About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation Structures Department in Calgary, AB. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bridge projects from start to finish, including project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bridge projects from start to finish, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Analyze, design, prepare tender packages, conduct visual inspections, prepare reports, estimate costs, and provide construction engineering services.
  • Prepare proposals and assist in developing client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A P.Eng. designation with APEGA or the ability to transfer.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in the Bridge Consulting Engineering industry.
  • A Master's Degree in Structural Engineering is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate, and project manage quality, budget, schedule, and technical deliverables for bridge projects at all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Familiarity with CHBDC and Alberta Transportation design standards, construction specifications, and project delivery is an asset.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork.
