Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Fragroma Inc. as a permanent employee.
Job Description:The Tile Setter will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tiles. They will mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. The successful candidate will also prepare rough plans and sketches, set tiles in place, and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Additionally, they will align and straighten tiles, cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, and instruct apprentices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work in a team environment. They will be responsible for packing grout into joints between tiles and removing excess grout, as well as removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles. The Tile Setter will also supervise other workers and lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:The Tile Setter will work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will need to be able to lift heavy materials and tools.
