Job Title: Tile Setter

iHome Concepts Inc. is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel. Additionally, you will prepare rough plans and sketches, set tiles in place, and apply pressure to affix them to the base. Your attention to detail and hand-eye coordination will be essential in aligning and straightening tiles, cutting and fitting tiles around obstacles and openings, and packing grout into joints between tiles.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Mix and apply adhesives
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure
  • Align and straighten tiles
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
Work Environment:

The work environment is physically demanding, with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to work at various locations, and your tasks will involve handling heavy loads and working at heights.
