We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the 2C Cardiology department at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Recent experience in cardiovascular nursing, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing
  • Recent experience with cardioversion
