Job Title: Registered Nurse-PT(.5)-Emergency Dept

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a part-time (.5) basis.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to complex patient populations. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients, including those with complex needs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Assess and manage patients with multiple traumas and complex conditions
  • Use the Nursing Process to deliver evidence-based care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Recent experience in Emergency Nursing, including care of complex patient populations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing
  • Current certifications in TNCC, PALS, ENC(C), and ACLS
  • SADV training
