Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and promote patient safety and well-being
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient issues
- Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention strategies
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
- Recent experience in an acute care setting at full scope of practice
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in a relevant specialty area
- Charge nurse experience and past leadership training
