**Job Summary**
At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Unit 24 General Internal Medicine. As a valued member of our interprofessional healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobilization, ensuring the highest level of safety and dignity.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
**Requirements**
- Current registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
- Active Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
- At least 1 year of recent acute inpatient medicine experience, preferably in a similar role.
