Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Clerk to join our team at CB Canada. As a Document Clerk, you will be responsible for processing mail, scanning documents, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mailroom Operations: Sort and prepare mail for scanning, verify each image for clarity, and rescan batches as needed.
  • Document Indexing: Ensure accurate and efficient indexing of documents, monitor progress against workload, and take immediate action to maintain productivity.
  • Claims Processing: Collect claims cheques, hand over cheques to supervisors, and process premium refunds.
  • Printing and Scanning: Print claim files, scan documents, and maintain scanner equipment.
  • Internal and External Mail: Distribute mail within the building, access Tritech FTP site, and process registered letters.
  • Scanner Maintenance: Clean scanners, calibrate scanner performance, and report any issues to supervisors.
Requirements
  • Document Management: Experience with document management systems and processes.
  • Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scanning software.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing mail and documents.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
