Job Title: Sales Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Supervisor to join our team at Home Hardware. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that they have the necessary training and support to perform their roles effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that our stores are well-stocked and that customers can find what they need.
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that sales staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including sales staff and other store employees.
  • Manage cash and ensure that sales staff are handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to sales staff to help them improve their performance.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a sales or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
