Job Title: Foreman

At EVRAZ, we're committed to excellence in everything we do. As a Foreman, you'll play a key role in leading our yard operations team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of yard operators and trade personnel to ensure safe and efficient daily operations
  • Manage work area housekeeping and ground maintenance to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members using handheld radios to ensure seamless operations
  • Support a variety of activities, including loader, excavator, and mobile shear operations
  • Report safety observations and concerns to the Operations Manager
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required
  • Operate heavy equipment used in loading and unloading ferrous and non-ferrous materials
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in a similar role
  • Ability to lead both inside and outside workforce
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of automotive components is an asset
  • Mechanical or electrical tickets are considered an asset
