Your Role

We're seeking a seasoned Business Growth Leader to join our Northern Ontario team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving business growth and diversification, fostering a culture of excellence, and leading a team of Project Leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets to drive business growth
  • Attract, retain, motivate, and inspire a team of Project Leaders
  • Lead with enthusiasm, delegate, and empower teams to achieve operational objectives
  • Drive collaboration, identify opportunities, and develop innovative strategies to expand services in the local market
  • Collaborate with leaders across the business to secure new opportunities and optimize resource allocation
  • Lead operational objectives, including quality, commercial/financial, people, and culture
  • Work with team members to develop their experience and achieve professional growth
  • Participate and present a unified company voice within the local business community
  • Implement a culture of quality

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership and business unit growth, preferably in professional services
  • Professional industry credentials or MBA (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • Experience managing a portion of a high-growth P&L to Plan
  • Clear understanding of a professional services business model, including workforce composition and resource management strategies, risk management strategies, and commercial strategies
  • Effective leadership and organizational skills with the ability to successfully lead teams and develop/implement operational plans for corporate initiatives
  • Leadership experience in the diversification of a business and the development of new market opportunities
  • The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook, demonstrate an energetic disposition, and motivate teams to achieve business growth ambitions
  • An established network of industry contacts and relationships within the region as well as involvement with applicable regional industry and trade associations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including a proven ability to write winning proposals and win competitive interviews
