Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Golden Gate Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads and working under pressure. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Dependability, reliability and a team player attitude
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
