Description:
As an Addiction Counsellor III, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, education, and referral services to clients and their families. You will develop and implement treatment plans, provide interventions, and monitor client progress. Your excellent relationship-building skills will be essential in working with clients, families, government staff, and colleagues.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Addictions or a related field with coursework in addictions is required. A related degree combined with a diploma in addictions or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active registration under the Health Professions Act (Alberta) is also required.
