Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community health centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks to patients.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, such as changing linens and cleaning patient rooms.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community health centers.

Work Schedule:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work a regular schedule, with occasional overtime as required.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Healthcare Support Worker will work 32 hours per week.
