About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Alberta Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with 32 hours of work per week. The work environment is physically demanding and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
