Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Alberta Inc.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Worker will provide high-quality patient care and support in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation, under the supervision of a registered nurse or other healthcare professional.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
Work Environment:
