Job Title: Senior Android Software Engineer

At Autodesk, we are committed to building innovative tools that empower individuals to create a better world. As a Senior Android Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our AutoCAD mobile application.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java or Kotlin
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Contribute to the development of efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
  • Familiarity with Android libraries, services, and SDKs
  • Experience with developing cross-platform software components
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI standards and the Android mobile app development cycle
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Published Android apps in the Google Play store
  • Optimization and benchmarking skills
  • Familiarity with CAD software (Architectural, Mechanical, or Civil design)
