Black & McDonald is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead our Western Utilities team in Edmonton, AB. As a key member of our team, you will supervise and lead a Traffic Signal crew in construction and maintenance activities along the West Valley Line Corridor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a Traffic Signal team in construction and maintenance activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Lead crews in HSE, Safety toolbox, tailboard meetings, mentoring, and training.
  • Read and interpret traffic designs, electrical, and construction drawings/plans.

Work Experience Requirements
  • Journeyman Construction Electrician.
  • Five or more years' experience in traffic signal field experience, directly in construction and maintenance, as an electrical team lead.
  • Must have been directly involved and/or provided leadership in the construction of traffic signal intersections in Canada.
  • IMSA Certification Level 2 - minimum.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
