About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Tenaris. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for optimizing the reliability and maintainability of our equipment, developing and supervising the execution of preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring systematic analysis and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and maintainability.
  • Supervise the execution of preventive maintenance plans and ensure systematic analysis and corrective actions.
  • Perform inspections and provide technical support to emergency crews and staff areas.
  • Guarantee technical resource availability and ensure a suitable minimum stock.
  • Support the Engineering area in researching and assessing the best equipment available and the startup of new pieces of equipment.
  • Draw up the maintenance cost budget and ensure costs are within agreed limits.
  • Ensure the application of health, safety, and environment standards and practices.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance information systems and support actions as required.
  • Participate in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
  • Analyze, interpret, and recommend courses of action for more complex topics.
  • Interact with internal and/or external contacts with a higher level of autonomy.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with, and develop staff and manage HR-related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting/manufacturing mill would be considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with maintaining heavy manufacturing steel industrial equipment such as AC and DC Motor drives, VFD systems; hydraulic systems; sensor and transducer devices; mechanical transmission equipment; electrical/electronic equipment inspection techniques; predictive maintenance; power distribution and motor control systems; PLCs and digital/electrical control systems.
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as per the requirement of the mill.
  • Experience with CMMS systems, such as SAP, to administer the maintenance work plan is an asset.
  • Exceptional mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Conflict Management.
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry an asset.
  • Intermediate Excel and Office skills.
  • Safety and Quality minded, detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills, Boots on the ground personality, interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the company.
