About the Role:

We are seeking a Food Service Leader to join our team at A & W. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless operations.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to establish work schedules.
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and efficient interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with dependability and the ability to work a variety of shifts.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Language of work: English.
