Human Resources Business Partner

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for human resources? Do you have a knack for building strong relationships and driving business results? We're looking for a talented Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at CAE Inc.

About the Role:

  • Provide labor relations support to a manufacturing employee group of 500 employees
  • Align company objectives with those of employees and management in designated divisions
  • Oversee the delivery of HR services, including labor relations management, talent management, engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, and change management
  • Act as a business partner in identifying workforce issues and developing action plans to address operational challenges
  • Coach managers in the management of their HR
  • Participate in the implementation of change management plans and exercise influence with various partners within CAE

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources
  • ~10 years of experience as a Human Resources business partner
  • ~ Experience in collective agreement negotiation (an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written - French and English)
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to act as an internal advisor and coach for the management team and employees
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels of the business
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
