Job Title: Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aide to join our team at Kenneth Robert Courville. As a Personal Care Aide, you will provide essential care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with medication management and administration
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to clients and their families
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a care-giving role, an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Work Environment:

Our clients reside in rural areas, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
