Agricultural GHG Management Data Specialist

Role SummaryThis role involves utilizing expertise in GHG data analysis to contribute to our team's efforts in reducing emissions. The successful candidate will have experience in database processing and analysis, as well as quantifying GHG emissions related to agricultural activities.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development: Participate in developing technological, financial, and contractual aspects of various projects for clients.
- Data Analysis: Conduct monitoring and analyses of information related to decarbonization, GHG quantification, climate change in the agricultural sector, and other relevant topics.
- Data Insights: Analyze agricultural GHG data from public databases, purchased by Coop Carbone, or provided by clients.
- Tool Development: Develop advanced tools using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant solutions.
- Emissions Quantification: Participate in quantifying GHG emissions from various agricultural activities.
- Reporting and Communication: Write reports, analyze and synthesize information, and document work performed. Contribute to content production for communication of analysis results.
- Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with internal experts (energy, buildings, mobility, etc.) to develop cross-functional projects and complementary service offerings.
- Education: University degree in computer science or significant experience in the field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced mastery of Excel, Power BI, and data management skills.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Adaptability: Strong adaptability, diversified technical knowledge, and scientific versatility.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in French (written and verbal) and good English skills.
- Autonomy: Good autonomy and orientation towards achieving objectives.
- Travel: Availability to travel as part of duties.
- Mission Alignment: Strong interest in Coop Carbone's mission and the cooperative model.
- Training: ISO14064-1 and ISO14064-2 training.
- Programming Skills: Python development skills.
- Schedule: 37.5 hours/week.
- Vacation: 4 weeks of vacation and 13 statutory holidays.

- Salary: Competitive salary ($80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location).
