We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Elyon African Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service by ensuring that all dishes, flatware, and other items are clean and ready for use.
- Carry and replace linen, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.
