Food Service Manager

Billy's Family Restaurant is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize kitchen operations.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure seamless service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient kitchen operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
