Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our clients in the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for life sciences applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings and specifications
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design options to ensure optimal solutions
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to source materials and components
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical design, with expertise in automation design
  • Strong knowledge of drafting principles, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
