Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems and equipment for the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for the life sciences industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design options to ensure optimal solutions
  • Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure smooth production and quality control
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and technology
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design, with expertise in automation design environments
  • Strong knowledge of drafting principles, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
