Job Summary:

Closing the Gap Healthcare is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a valued member of our organization, you will provide high-quality speech therapy services to adult clients in their home settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments in a home setting based on presenting impairment or diagnosis using standardized assessment tools.
  • Design a care plan using evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Partner with clients' family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals regarding care goals and service plans.
  • Utilize face-to-face and virtual sessions to build a schedule that works for you and your clients.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a recognized Post-Secondary program in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Flexible and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills, with strong organizational abilities.
